Ok, I want to know where are the EETs finding jobs. I was recently laid off from a Electronics Technician job at a plant. I didn't really like the job because I worked 12 hour nights 3/2 shift (48 hrs one week 36 hrs the next). Now that I am on the job search again, I would like to know where the electrical engineering technologists are finding jobs. My biggest problem is sifting through the electrical engineering jobs to find jobs that I am qualified for. I graduated college 4 years ago and worked the Technician job for 2.5 years. If there are any questions about the job I had, I be happy to answer them.
Thanks

Job hunting is by far most effectively done via networking. Networking, unfortunately, cannot be done easily over a short period of time.
So if I were you, I would start with building up your network of social / professional contacts, going to conferences, etc.
That's unlikely to yield any opportunities over the short term. For that, you may just have to do cold calls, resume submissions, head hunters, etc.
Hope it helps.
