Wow! Literal fashion police. (Or maybe fascist police) Is this for real?
The bit, "looking like they sleep rough" is especially concerning here. How could this even be constitutional?  :palm:

My clothes typically go through 4 phases: suitable to wear to work/customers, suitable to wear at home, suitable for dirty jobs like painting, metal working and then they get recycled. This cycle can take 15 years though  :)

Same here. Applies particularly to my running shoes: suitable for running, suitable for weight training, suitable for around the home, suitable for dirty jobs. My last pair of Brooks GTS14s (8 years old?) is in the fourth stage.

I have 3 pairs of GTS20s in different stages: new/unopened, suitable for running, suitable for weight training.

Through all my years, to many to count, I have dressed the same. From grammar school to now..... Button down shirts, good pants, leather shoes. No loud patterns or color. Ohh, sneakers here and there, grippy deck shoes on the water. Trends are throw away, classic is forever. ( I can't believe I just wrote this )

Indeed. But why would they care? They can pretty much pass any bill these days and the majority of people is just looking at this like cows looking at trains.
