Electronics haiku
« on: October 18, 2019, 03:16:01 pm »
Although off and dark
  The cathode ray tube emits
    Warm satisfaction

Surprised confusion
  Philips should be Posidriv
    Trail of hackjob

Capsule of glass
  Rarefied air and metal
    Atomic power

Boatanchor rule:
  More weight equals more function
    Need a bigger boat!

In EMC lab
  Even if everything works
    Oh, the expenses!

Drawers of ferrites
  Unsuspecting engineer
    Like a moth to flame

CE is CE
  Is CE is CE is
    CE is CE

Lim of RoHS n
  To infinity means that
    All things from nothing

Current leads the dance again
The Iceman cometh.

Drink the TEA, dream big!
Shelf now heavy with anchors,
kids hungrily sleep.

  • Why shouldn't we question everything?
    • It's not really a Blog

ebay victory
Sits on the bench for repair.
Schematics not found.

I know I have that
Somewhere among the boxes.
Go buy a new one.

CMOS is modern,
Such wonderful data sheets
To us old timers.

Soldering is fun!
So very gratifying.
Not while wearing shorts.

Discarded on kerb.
Expecting some stupid fault.
It works perfectly.

Following traces
Can drive anyone insane.
Shine a strong light through.

Old misconceptions
Will haunt us all forever.
Positive current.

Reviled old white male?
We should withdraw our support.
See how long you last.
