| VEGETA:
Hello, I've been wondering if there is a good specific electronics product design book. I searched amazon for example and found this one to be the closest: https://www.amazon.com/Electronic-Product-Design-Wind-Kaduskar/dp/8126533161/ but this does not seem famous or known, can't find a pdf for it too. so do you have good suggestions? |
| Neomys Sapiens:
Product Design for Manufacture and Assembly; Geoffrey Boothroyd, Peter Dewhurst, Winston Knight; Marcel Dekker; 2002; ISBN 0-8247-0584-X Handbook of materials and product design; Charles A. Harper, editor in chief; McGraw-Hill; 2001; ISBN 0-07-135406-9 Designing Electronic Product Enclosures; Tony Serksnis; Springer; 2019; e-ISBN 978-3-319-69395-8 On the other hand, the book you mentioned is probably not well known just because it is published by the India branch of Wiley. |

first book you mentioned seemed the closest but it is more of a general big book rather than specified for electronics or consumer electronics. I really like the book I mentioned in terms of subjects it takes, but looks like the only option is to get it from Amazon. there is also this one but looks like it is just about beginner pcb stuff. maybe one day when I get more experience and success I could write a book about this subject ^_^. Now, it seems that my original suggestion is gonna be my next buy for myself. |
