Electronics repair channels on YouTube - recommendations?

Alan is great.  He has some clips on basic stuff and all the way to using scopes and other test equipment and how to use them for different things.
Very informative stuff on his back to basics series. I believe he is ex Tectronix.
Mr. Carlson is great as well. If you join his Patreon page, you get access to test equipment he designs. Great stuff.

Mend It Mark - only recently found this guy and love his channel - he's informative, entertaining and does some really nice work (https://www.youtube.com/@MendItMark )

Agreed, his channel popped up a few days ago in my Youtube feed.

It's really well produced, and I have no idea how he manages to chuckle all the time, and keep his perma smile. I wasn't sure if I'd tire of it, but I've found quite the opposite. It's total nerd entertainment. He has a great workshop too, with a good proportion of his TE being middle aged if not older, showing that you don't need the latest gear to be productive.

I think I might suggest that he invests in soldering tweezers for the SMD work he does.

His biggest crime (tongue deeply embedded in cheek) is he still uses that manky old solder sucker: I haven't used one of those for 30 years!

I find his videos highly entertaining and educational, but then I am a total nerd.

I'm not sure what your definition of "many" is, because Steve's done only a handful of repair videos in the last few years. While his channel is excellent, Steve doesn't really do repairs; his channel is mostly focused on circuit design and build, as well as equipment review.

I watch north ridge fix a bit.
In the end it gets a bit same old thing.
He doesnt often use circuit diagrams but more of a look for damage, test power mosfets for shorts.
He is very skilled at fixing ripped connectors with patches.

I'll probably get some crap for this, but I find Shango066's channel very entertaining.  The focus is primarily on getting old tube televisions, radios and hifi systems that have been sitting out in the weather for decades running well enough to watch or listen (as opposed to restoration).  He does this with a bare minimum of equipment, and often tests capacitors by running an audio signal through them and judging their health by the frequency filtering listening to the amplified signal.

Will you learn electronic theory? No.  Will you be entertained? Yes    That said, I did pick up a few things watching him work on transistorized radios.

AvE is also a hysterical smart guy, tends to deal with the mechanical side of electrical stuff.

Sorry, I find shango066 intensely annoying.
He makes comments which are technically wrong, blunders around & more by blind luck than anything else, "sort of" fixes things.

He describes his repairs to ham radio stuff, test equpment, & some other things.

Self explanatory!  The guy runs an electronics repair business, in the Canaries I think (!!), repairs a wide spectrum of equipment and devices, builds projects, reviews the odd equipment, does tutorials on repair techniques, hints and tips, etc, etc.

repairs a wide range of equipment, from valve to the latest gear, good presentation style, no blathering or messing about, very experienced guy, has a great array of test equipment!
