It's probably this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Condensed_aerosol_fire_suppression

"It's completely safe to breathe." --- I don't think so. ::)

Amusingly enough, there is a patent (now expired) by a Chinese company which details the actual chemical:

https://patents.google.com/patent/US8231801

A search for "fire extinguish stick" reveals that this isn't a new product...

  Potassium Hydroxide? Potassium Nitrate? Potassium Carbonate?  No way that I'm breathing that sh it or using on anything that I care about!  Not only are they corrosive but they're also hygroscopic which means that they'll continue to absorb atmospheric moisture and cause corrosion until you remove EVERY trace of them. And with that small of particles, that will be impossible.

  IMO there are a lot more effective fire suppression systems and ones that don't cause the problems that this one does.

  And did anyone notice this part? "produced from the thermal decomposition of a solid aerosol-forming compound that includes potassium nitrate as an oxidizer."   So basically this is rocket fuel or black gun powder.

  I didn't watch the video but I can't imagine Jay using one of these on one of his super collectible cars.
