I was on it all last night trying to fix it. The main site is actually on Freeserve and I couldn't get into that one either. I eventually managed to reactivate it on Orange. Internet Explorer FTP no longer works to Freeserve (DNS error). Dowloaded FTP explorer, that didn't work. Eventually I got it to work using a Firefox plugin via dialup :-(
 
After uploading the book for 20 minutes it timed out, telling me I had exceeded my allowance so it deleted the file :-(

The author seems to be using arcane methods for managing the site... perhaps he might need assistance in setting up the site?

Could this be part of the solution for him? Or some other, similar print/publish-on-demand service? I hate to think that there is no way for him to continue earning revenue on the printed version when his last few copies are sold.

Why the sudden rush? You've lived without this book for years. Can't you be patient and give him a couple of days to fix his webspace?

I hope the eevblog exposure creates great interest in this book, its very much worth owning and for Mr. Green to be better known.  I guess exceeding his download quota shows the exposure has caused demand to exceed his quota that probably was quiet for so long.
