EPROM access time vs temperature
« on: October 12, 2023, 05:41:45 am »
Made a couple of boards using cheap Chinese counterfeit EPROMs and some of them work just fine, others run for a bit then start acting silly. At first I had to fiddle the software to allow enough time between addressing and reading the data because these EPROMs are pretty slow. Labeled as 100nS but probably several times that figure. Question is - If the required setup time is just okay when cold, does it get longer when hot? It's easy peasy to allow for it, just want to know if I'm on the right track.
