With all the amazing announcements yesterday I was reminded of a truly innovative company, sygnetics http://www.americanradiohistory.com/Archive-Catalogs/Signentics%20Write%20Only%20Memory.pdf

They weren't THAT innovative. After all, they were inspired by this infamous Eimac datasheet:

http://www.americanradiohistory.com/Archive-Catalogs/Umac-606.pdf

Eimac also published a similar datasheet for a tube they called the "1Z2Z", but that one doesn't appear to be on the 'net anywhere....

hahaha Filament: Urinated tungsten!!! ...the 606 can serve as an oscillator, modulator, or amplifier. It usually serves as all three simultaneously!!! Ratings will be available as soon as our competitors issue their catalogue!!! Exhaustive  tests in our advertising department have shown that the 606 will give 50% more output than you will obtain!!!  :-DD epic!!!  :-DD

Hehe... those are both nice. I particularly like "The uranium used for the urination", "Adjust until half as bright as flashlight", the grid leak control, and on the Signetics - "bit capacity vs. temp", "number of socket insertions vs. number of remaining pins" and the recommendation to use 1A fuses on all data lines.  :-DD
