Farnell product notification

Hi

Has anyone has an email from productwatch@FARNELL.COM titled "Important - Product Notification"? It's an empty email with an attachment file FARNELL.TXT.

I was wondering because it's a bit soon to be getting spam on this new work email address which has only a few months old, and I only use it for work-related correspondence. If it's genuine and that is how Farnell are sending out notifications it's pretty shoddy.

(No idea of the content, it's gone into the junk folder)

I got a few and mine are not spam. It was about items i've bought before.
Mine start with:

Dear MR nrxnrx

Please be informed that we will no longer be stocking the below product(s). If
you need to secure any stock before our supplies are exhausted, please contact
us immediately. If this does not affect you directly, please forward to the
user of this product(s).

..and then suggest alternatives. I buy small quantities, so it's a bit overkill to suggest alternatives for the six TL084s I ordered once.
