Farnell - very bad customer service, terrible delivery delays
« on: December 08, 2023, 11:53:41 am »
I buy from many companies supplying electronic components: DigiKey, Mouser, Farnell - and here I will comment on the latter supplier.

Farnell - a large supplier of electronic components, I have been buying there for over 15 years.
A few years ago, when I was shopping there, it was very convenient and quick. Orders placed before 5 p.m. were delivered the next day. Fast without problems, support worked immediately.

Unfortunately, the quality of service has been dropping dramatically there for several years.
Parcels are sent with a multi-day delay, the staff sends responses from a template, and no one from the staff knows anything.
Parcels get lost and no one can do anything about it, you have to ask for a refund for the amount paid for many days (weeks). Generally, only a complaint to the bank (chargeback) triggers a reaction.

In general, the service is getting worse every year, you can't rely on timely deliveries. Deliveries and whether we receive the goods are similar to "Russian Roulette" except that we have 5 bullets in a 6-round magazine.

I would like to know if others have similar problems? Please write
