Farnell/E14/Newark no longer authorized ADI distributors

Farnell Group ( PF, Newark, Element 14) are in the process of being terminated as authorized distributors for Analog Devices, effective October 27, 2017.

No great surprise there, I guess. They only sold a tiny part of the range, were more expensive than anywhere else and, here in Aus at least, they've never carried much local stock (a situation au.E14 seem intent on worsening).

On the plus side ADI have always been excellent with samples & small orders, with good prices & fast shipping (from Mouser Tawian IIRC). On the downside, I wonder if they'll start relying more on Arrow instead as Linear have always done

This is annoying. In NZ, I find Farnell is the only option with decent shipping (next day delivery and free for over $45NZD)
