Power for free the real way.......
« on: June 27, 2015, 08:32:18 am »
Anybody care to translate, as the YT auto translate mangles Russian quite badly.......

Long line, high voltage power line nearby and light and radio in the home for free, using old electronics and some scrap to do it.

Because a 20kHz flyback transformer will obviously work at 50hz and only 1 wire.
Greek letter 'Psi' (not Pounds per Square Inch)

I think this is an old wives-tale. (nice video - glad to see Russia has after effects/CGI now!)

The original story went something like this.....

So the power company demanded that they put in huge high tension power lines across a farmers field. He protested, but "eminent domain" prevailed. The lines happened to run right past his barn.  So he did what any farmer would do.  He pulled out his mile long spool of copper wire (like every farmer has a mile of copper sitting around - but for the general public, it's plausible) and wrapped his barn in copper.  And then started stealing power from the power company! Untill the "man" shut him down.

BTW - I forget is magmatic field the inverse cube of distance, or the inverse square? - anyways - that barn would have to been right up next to them big old power lines.

It does not take much to light fluorescent tubes. I used to do it as a kid just wrapping cheap RG58 around one connected to a standard 4 watt CB radio.

One story I heard was when someone soldered a hook to one end of a fluorescent bulb and then used a R/C helicopter to hang it on a power line right outside the bedroom window of someone he wanted to seek revenge on.
Cryptocurrency has taught me to love math and at the same time be baffled by it.

Cryptocurrency lesson 0: Altcoins and Bitcoin are not the same thing.
