Festool Bluetooth, hack anyone?
« on: August 29, 2018, 07:29:17 pm »
Anyone has a Festool bluetooth battery/remote?

I'm curious if the signal can easily be copied to trigger your vac (like your own remote). Any clue about whcicg bluetooth version they are using (I read something about pairing, I'm guessing 2.1).

Thanks :-)

A while back, someone asked about DIYing a remote trigger for one that plugged into the trigger outlet. The solution was more or less an off the shelf remote switch switching in a 20uF or so motor run capacitor as a load.
