I recently sold some Sprague Black Beauty capacitors on ebay for an enormous price to some audio whatever.  I had tested some like those I sold a while back.  Frankly I wouldn't use them in anything.
Sold something else to another guy.  His paypal had a company domain.  I looked at the home page and he was selling Hand made 6 foot IEC power cables for $250.

Not more audiophoolery. This sort of shit should be banned!

It's certainly a crappy capacitor. Only rated to 6VAC and is bound to have lots of nasty dielectric absorption.

The price of that crappy old incandescent lamp also made be laugh.

Probably made with rolling paper and hash oil, for best effect... 8)

Hang on... can it handle 1.21 Jiggerwatts via a direct lightning strike?  :-\

He says "The Flux Capacitor exhibits an uncommon level of sonic purity."
Alternatively "The Flux Capacitor detects an uncommon level of chronic stupidity."

Hash oil is expensive, more like old newspaper, the cheapest kitchen foil they could get ( or removed from scrap electrolytics bought for pennies per kilo at the market), and some used engine oil or some recovered sewer oil. then rolled up, with leads simply bare wire in the roll, soaked in oil and then taped up and dipped a few times in the red paint.
