Fluke buying reviews?
« on: December 07, 2016, 06:05:55 pm »
See attachments. They didn't say it must be a positive review in order to receive the perk, but I assume since they requires to email review to their email address, I would say there is some kind of "qualification" process going on.

Rant number two: I calibrated my F289 2 years ago from Tek calibration center, which is recommended by Fluke, and they started spamming me for a recalibration after the previous cal cert is due.

I hate all electronics / test equipment / EDA marketing, EXCEPT for the nice swag I occasionally get at trade shows and conferences. Electronics enthusiasts are some of the pickiest people on the planet when it comes to buying (test) equipment. No amount of marketing will sway someone who cares about functionality / specs / UI.
