Name that EEVBLOG video.
« on: September 25, 2022, 07:02:11 pm »
I thought I'd create this thread for anyone who is having difficulty searching for past EEVBLOG Videos, reviews or content seeing how there are so many of them.

I have been looking for a video I saw years back and couldn't find it and there are so many.  Sometimes I do the find a said video but it takes me a long time when I can't find it in search. I even spent hours today and yesterday seeking through the mailbags videos dating from about 8 years ago with endless tabs opened endless amounts and even looked at EEVBLOG2 channel. So I did my best.

In the video I am looking for, Dave was reviewing this voice recorder or not take or something like that.
I think it might have been around 2017.

What was so special about this recorder was that it required you to register it after a certain amount of time that you used it.
I remember Dave saying it worked well but it was fail requiring people to register it just to use it as far as I can remember.

I did email Dave and he said that he don't recall it.

Does anyone remember such a video?

Maybe the Zoom H1 recorder that Dave reviews in video #271

I found it thusly:

Google search for all EEVblog videos in order which brings you back to EEVblog with a long list of videos.  Then a Ctrl-F search for 'recorder'.  Voila'

FWIW, it is the only recorder review and the device does need to be registered to get optional software.

If you can download the subtitles with "yt-dlp" you could grep them and search for the word(s) "register", "registration" and "recorder" (use "grep -i" for case insensitivity)

Thanks you very much for helping but I have seen that one already turn up in the results and had a look.

I don't think the one in question I am referring to was torn down in the same video.

I just remembered:
It was a little pocket thing.
It had wifi and required you to register after a certain use brand new where it would refuse to record.

He said about it not making it on the market and that they have fix this issue by not requiring registration and I heard word word "bullshit" in there for such a requirement.

Please help me get this video:
"EEVBlog Live -Well, 2020 Was Kinda Crap"turned out to be marked as private, Why??I thought all his blogs are uncensored!!PS:  I got it now from other website.... just ignore this post.
PS 2:  Finally got a chance to watch it and Dave did the right thing to make it private!        It is 91% heap of shit.  I think this is the reason why MrCarlsonsLab unsubscribed to EEVBlog youtube channel.

In 2018 I remember one of them being like that and there was a copy on another video site, Dailymotion? and it turned to be a video detailing Eevblog's male and female audiences and something about the majority of females interested being in their 60's?
