looking for some connector for a window shutter switch
« on: July 11, 2024, 08:18:43 pm »
I bought some of these chinese loratap window shutter switch
inside there is an esp8266 ripoff, that I will replace with a real one, and store my program in it...
but I would likt to add a detection of window openi,g with a switch, so I need a 2 prongs connector (low voltage) to add to this switch

what kind of connector would be best suited for this kind of application ?
it will only conduct low voltage like 5v or even 3v (but there are mains voltages around ...)
where can I modify the switch to install this connector ?
thanks for any hints about this.

The chip inside is supported by openbk software for Home assistant (if thats what you use)
as for the connector maybe a inline jst type or a automotive two pin would work fine.
