https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ding_(vessel) was and apparently still is common as a character in Chinese company names. I'm not sure what's "slightly" about this one though.

Funny names aren't solely the domain of the Chinese though, when I was a kid, we had a baker called "Brown & Burns".
And of course, there was always the ever popular "Wayne Kerr".

I used to see a white service van from a small company whose name escapes me, running around north Toronto, with the slogan "Don't Get Boned".  I'll never forget it but will always wonder what service they did.   :o

The mother of them all is the gambling company "Ladbrokes".
They should have the slogan:- "Sending lads (& lasses) broke since 1886!"

The "slightly" should really have come out as something like "strategic", although in other contexts it can mean slightly (yeah, translation is funky). I guess that's what some translation software gave them.

Voltaren make some topical painkilling products, & used to sell one called "Voltaren Analgel" (apparently from the word "analgesic").
Perhaps due to confusion about its intended use, the name has now become "Emulgel" :D

I know there is controversy about the past tense.  Should it be

it -> at
it -> itted

In the stop-action animated movie "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" (2005), Gromit (the dog) assembles rabbit crates using a "Botch" power drill.
