Galaxy Watch Pool Water Damage Repair Attempt
« on: February 23, 2022, 08:59:11 pm »
After a few years of use at the local pool my wife's galaxy watch had failed to turn on.  This was purchased mainly for its advertised swimming exercise functions along side it's IP68 rating which should be suitable for laps.  It wasn't immediately though that it was water damage until it was opened and became evident.  The question then became a matter of how bad it looked versus how much functionality could be restored.

Aside from the battery that became suspiciously swollen, all of the original parts were used in the repair.
