I'm translating a document with the aid of Google. This:
Ein ball (elastischer Korper) wird mit einer bestimmten Anfangsgeschwindigkeit Vo in einen Kasten geworfen. Der Vorgang wird als ebenes Problem betrachtet.
Transforms to this:
A ball (elastic body) is thrown into a box at a certain initial speed Vo. The process is regarded as a flat problem.
The first sentence I am fine with but what was the author trying to say when describing the problem as "flat"? It's two-dimensional. Is that what he/she likely means?

A better translation for "Der Vorgang wird als ebenes Problem betrachtet." might be "The process is regarded as a problem in a plane".

Danke.
And the Sinus-Cosinus generator is stabilised by anxiety, according to Google-translate. Hmm....

You didn't know that anxiety has this effect on generators? :-DD

That's a really nice project. BTW: in the text you translated the word "Anfachung" with "weak positive damping". Sounds a bit complicated and not quite right. The word "Anfachung" sounds a bit old fashioned to me anyway, I don't hear it often. But it is still used for example if you have a fire (kettle barbecue), and you blow to it to make it stronger, "Feuer anfachen", so maybe "excitation" in this context? And at the end of the document you translated it wrong with "reference".

Depending on how much of the surrounding text is submitted at the same time, for "eine schwache Anfachung" I have gotten either "a weak instillation", "a weak anger" or "anxiety".
Curiously, the translator is also confused by:
When the paragraph is submitted as a whole I get "In order for this acceleration to be as small as possible with low elastic deformation...", but when I submit the sentences separately I get "In order for this acceleration to be as great as possible with low elastic deformation...."

Ok, I just changed that to "weak positive feedback" to be less ambiguous. Dunno if that is still an awkward direct translation for the word Anfachung, but technically, a weak positive feedback is what the writer was referring to; this feedback (a) is implemented to sustain oscillation of the sine-cosine generator.

I have a nice Blaupunkt 6x9 you can have....

I would say the correct translation is already in the english part of the document:
"eine schwache Anfachung" -> "weak positive feedback"
Hmmm... the part with "small" and "great" is weird :)

Germany makes lots of electronics, just look up some brands.

Hmm, just noticed that the number of views of my Youtube video jumped from <100 to >1700 over night :o
From past experience, that can only mean one thing........

Thanks to [Frank] for the tip, and for helping [Glen] patch the dodgy Google translation.
Thanks Frank.

My pleasure, it is a cool project and perfect to be featured on Hackaday.

If you need an Weapon who work trust Austrian Manufactures.
The German G36 is a total peace of crap. :-DD Year Glock or Steyr Mannlicher make more reliably products.
