Gigantic synced LED displays at multiple high rise buildings
« on: February 07, 2021, 05:49:37 pm »
Fast forward the video to 3:23 ... feels like in the movie of Blade Runner's city.

Curious if they bought the same and exact LEDs from the same LED factory.

Yep, from a sci-fi and turned into reality, just worry they do it on this particular popular sci-fi.  :scared:

On serious side though, I'm very interested like the "behind the scene" thingy on this project.

I guess it must be a complex task, as the work and responsibility spread across so many buildings, from management like dealing with different buildings owners, also others aspect like they're all not built & finished at the same time, down to nitty gritty of technical challenge like how they maintain the LED displays that have brightness, contrast and density so evenly spreaded, the power, management and billing and etc for running this.

Its quite dizzying for me personally to even think about it. Wish there will be a coverage/documentation on this kind of project, must be interesting.

America: The blueish light from LEDs worsens light pollution, which impacts astronomy, wildlife, and our own health.
China: Hold my baijiu.
