The problem is ebay still has the largest audience by far, so it's hard for anyone else to gain that critical mass. I do keep wishing for more competition though, that's part of the reason ebay is like dealing with the mob, they have no real competition in the auction space and they know it. |

Yup, bonanza dot com was founded in 2008, 13 years ago, and previously called Bonanzle. Their business model positions the company as a direct competitor to eBay: both private and commercial sellers offer all kinds of products on the market place, in addition to new goods, but private sellers advertise free of charge and the website takes less commission. This sounds Built to Propel Your Business. |

After several minutes of looking i still do not know if it is an worldwide or US-only gizmo. No item location is listed and shipping is all given "to" the US. |

What worries me about eBay is their nasty policies. Building your online store takes vision, dedication, and time, so you need to know you’re building on a solid foundation. eBay doesn't look to have any solid foundation, but rather bad assistance, very high costs, and doesn’t provide sellers with buyer information, so there is no opportunity for sellers to develop rapport with their customers. Without this personal connection, customers typically buy based on price, and price alone. |
