Graphene ultracapacitor story in Spectrum

Interesting stuff, they got one working as an AC filter cap!
I wonder how many years until they're cheap enough to play with . . .

very interesting, their description of AC ripple in rectified DC is a bit ropy but we know what they mean. sounds like a great step in getting higher capacity storage without loosing charge/discharge speed

they will probably replace batteries some day, the big problem with electric vehicles is the weight and volume ratios to the power stored
