Hi!
I'm new in this forum and this is my first post, also please be kind with my English.
I assume that all of you know what HAARP is supposed to be and you have heard of all the myths around this topic, if not a quick google search will do.
I just really want to know what some of you think about it.
DO NOT take it too serious, please.
*Getting my foil hat ready!*
Thank you so much beforehand!! :D :D

Having been to HAARP to install some instrumentation a few years ago (scientific GPS receiver), I can say it's exactly what it claims to be. Once they showed me to the site where my equipment would be installed (driving by the huge antenna arrays), they drove off and left me to my own devices for a few hours, then I just stopped by the front office to let them know I was done when I was finished. No weather control, no ridiculous security or armed guards keeping people out, just a fence and a normal gate with regular people working the office. It shut down a few years back due to lack of funding, but was re-opened recently by the University of Alaska. I haven't been back since that all happened, but I presume it's basically the same now as it was when I was there in 2012.
Fantastic bed and breakfast down the road too...and some of the best Thai food I've ever had was from a purple food truck in a gas station parking lot a few miles away in Gakona.

Whoa!
Didn't expect a repply form someone who has been in the actual place!! Thank you so much, and I have to say that I did imagine that there had to be some people around the world, that know the full story or at least part of it, and that they should spend day and night laughing about all the myths and the BS trillion Watt lasers that come to mind when speaking of that place.
Thank you and have a nice day! :-+

Heating ionosphere is controlling weather. Only question is by how much [power is needed]. Conceptually - when unbalancing balanced system to gain avalanche effect input power can be vanishingly small compared to resulting process.
Example:
"Laser-triggered lightning discharge"
http://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/1367-2630/4/1/361 (http://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/1367-2630/4/1/361)
Suppose any entity with means would poke Nature with sharp stick. Everyone likes a good discharge time to time.

Ordinary radar will trigger lightning. When I lived near an RAF base in the 80's and early 90's I used to see it regularly, you could see the discharge flashes move round in a circle around the rotating radar antennae in most cases the discharge was not big enough to to create a thunder clap you just saw the electrical discharge flash's late in a summer afternoon.

Heating ionosphere is controlling weather.
I mean tropospheric weather. Hurricanes, tornadoes, etc. There's a group of conspiracy theorist nutjobs who think that the government uses HAARP to create extreme weather cells to attack people. Yes, HAARP "controls" space weather by injecting a small amount of power into the ionosphere at a few hundred km altitude and looking at resulting auroral emissions or ionspheric scintillation, but the amount of power they inject is miniscule compared to what the sun does when it's in the sky, which is why most (all?) of these tests can only be run at night.
To throw another wrench in the conspiracy theories out there, about a month after I was at HAARP I traveled to the South Pole for a few weeks to repair some equipment, proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Earth is, indeed, spherical, and there are no armies stationed at the "Antarctic ice wall" shooting at anybody who gets near.

Truth has many layers, much like an onion... As for weather control... This is normal business can order some sunshine for birthday with enough $$$. Also if look up obviously there is general effect with contrails because they do spread out and form haze daily. Also large cities, deforestation, fires modify weather patterns etc. So it is not like if weather mod is done, but on how large scale, intentional or not, by what exact means, and on what purpose. But indeed doubtful if semi-public object like HAARP is somehow representative of weather tech bleeding edge.
As for flat earth - for those watching game long enough may click for what purposes this all started and how successful it has been.
IMHO any sort of extremism is counterproductive. Either blind belief in official standpoint or belief in mainstream conspiracy theories... In fact any belief if counterproductive. Can only suggest observe and analyze - much like AI.
