Do you remember this? This is the strangest thing I have ever seen. I read on redit that someone who knew the guy said he was autistic but who knows. Definitely odd.

wasn't CBS. it was WGN (ind.) Channel 9 Chicago and then WTTW PBS channel 11 Chicago

There have been a number of well documented "Broadcast Signal Intrusion Events" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broadcast_signal_intrusion) in the past. Very interesting to read about. Slightly off-topic, but if you haven't seen the movie Pump Up The Volume (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0100436/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_94), it's well worth seeing at least once.
