"Walking On Water" 'trick'.... Not what you think!!!!
« on: July 20, 2019, 12:41:24 pm »
We've all seen the crap on the likes of 'Mythbusters', where they try to re-create scenes of people
running fast from the shore-line, and supposedly "Walking on water". OBVIOUSLY this is FAKE, and
they are running on slightly submerged boards....   HOWEVER !!............

The following is NOT 'faked' as such. There are NO hidden boards, and the 'runner' is truly doing
what his body does !!...  The 'illusion'  is simply that the CAMERA view is turned up-side-down!!
The 'runner' is under water, with his feet just touching the surface.  Most impressive !!!!   8)

Diagonal of 1x1 square = Root-2. Ok.
Diagonal of 1x1x1 cube = Root-3 !!!  Beautiful !!

I had seen that footage and noticed a strange feeling about the movements but never suspected how it was done.

Interesting.

the movement doesn't look natural, so even without the fish in the camera view, I would have suspected something amiss.

I walk on water all the time.... just happens to be in a solid rather than liquid format.

Well, staying that straight upside down under water must certainly take a lot of practice IMO.

The scuba diving buoyancy cancellation weights in the opening photo is a dead giveaway what he is upside down.

Similar video used in Spain to show what multiple sclerosis feels like and to promote awareness. I had no idea how it was done. It now makes me think of those choreographed water gymnasts and how they do things that seem almost impossible.
