I was thinking of grabbing this iron off farnell.

Is it any good for the price? I've used the 936's extensively and they are alright irons, but I dont know if there are better options out there (as a student on a tight budget :P)?

No idea, but you can get a Hakko 936 for under $100 on ebay:

Probably fake tips, but the iron looks genuine.
