Hakko FX888D-23BY, USA version. Transformer/frequency issue?

Ok! I just made the mistake of buy a Hakko FX888 from USA and now I need to know if I can use a step down transformer (240VAC to 120 VAC) without any big issues? I'm really concerned about the frequency issue 60 HZ -> 50Hz. As this model as made for the american market where the  f = 60 Hz and I'm living in Australia where the f = 50 Hz. Please, someone could help me??

P.S.: Regarding the step down transformer I've found this model that is manufactured in Australia. However, it's expensive.
