hameg 203-6 scop the horizntal went left
« on: September 24, 2021, 06:23:19 am »
hi everyone
i have the 203-6 for over 30 years and it  worked fine and also look like new with no any rust
i just did not use it for a few years and i tried it and the line went left showing 2 cm and only can move more left and not to center.
it also the same with component and channels.
nothing is burn there. all look nice and clean.
i clean the switches and everything i could think of.
what else can i check ?

Find the user manual in the web.
Check internal supply voltages and hum.
Check for overheated resistors, rectifires (or other components).
Check for leaking/blown electrolytic caps
