Help contacting a Chinese manufacturer?
« on: January 21, 2021, 11:04:33 am »
Is there anyone who could help me contact this company please?

http://china-kn.com/message.html

All there is is a web form. I've tried guessing what to put in the boxes but I've failed.
An email address would be perfect.

Many thanks,

G

On the right side of the webpage there seems to be a contact system, probably some kind of chat? Try investigating that.
Believe it or not, pointy haired people do exist!

I left there a message asking him to contact me for a potential overseas customer. Let's see if he will be interested in.

That's great, thank you!

This is some kind of Chinese QQ chat, similar to ICQ, if I'm not mistaken.
And sorry for my English.

Yes, clicking the button redirects me to an URL that is a QQ protocol, which I don't have it installed on my computer -- I use Linux, QQ for Linux has been dead for years.

It's a good thing the Chinese guys didn't make a captcha out of hieroglyphs.  :)
And sorry for my English.

The worst I've seen are Chinese captchas made of Chines idioms with one character missing, you need to fill in the blank.
Apparently they made clear that this service is only for within China.

But the Chinese language is very complex, the culture is diverse - will the Chinese themselves understand everything in common Chinese? After all, you have many dialects.
And sorry for my English.

I have an opinion that the сhinese tend not to answer. Ancient big culture implies an understanding of signs: if they do not respond, then they do not want. :) But perseverance in their culture commands respect. Try ones more. :)

I may be wrong, but I had to repeat the question 2-3 times to get an answer.
Try to find this manufacturer on LCSC.
Well, we have a Chinese guy here who won't refuse to help.  :)
And sorry for my English.

I'm not making much progress with this. Here's what's happened:

I was looking for the manufacturer of the following part numbers:

WJ2EDGRC-5.08-XXP-1YY- 11
WJ2EDGK-5.08-XXP-1YY-00A
WJ15EDGRC-3.5-XXP-1YY-00A
WJ15EDGK-3.5-XXP-1YY-OOA

I need to know if they have safety approval data for them.

I found the first two available to buy at LCSC:
https://lcsc.com/product-detail/2EDG-Connectors_Made-in-China-WJ2EDGRC-5-08-3P_C8377.html
https://lcsc.com/product-detail/Pluggable-System-Terminal-Block_Ningbo-Kangnex-Elec-WJ2EDGK-5-08-3P_C71371.html

This suggested that the manufacturer was:
Ningbo Kangnex Elec

This is the manufacturer that I have been trying to contact, but they don't reply.

I also found the exact same part numbers listed by this manufacturer:
http://www.china-wj.com/En/index.html

This manufacturer has responded to my emails, have supplied safety documentation, but I have to purchase direct from them, and they want $65 to ship samples.

All I'm trying to do is:
Work out who the manufacturer is.
Get some safety documentation.
Find a place to purchase them from easily.
 :palm:

G

I'm not making much progress with this. Here's what's happened:

If you need European certificates, I think Wurth Electric of Phoenix Contact will be more convenient.  :)
And sorry for my English.

Manufacturers who fail to respond are simply not worth dealing with. Companies with crappy datasheets should be avoided. They wonder why customers keep having to ask them questions. They are too thick to realise their datasheets of websites are the cause of so much frustration. Few of them even come near the quality of Analog Devices (Linear Technology) and Texas Instruments. If I had a favourite company for electronic components, their documentation and good pricing and availability, it is Texas Instruments hands down.

I recently read the datasheet for a high power laser I am involved with. It it looked like it was written by a high school student. Certainly not written by any experienced engineer.
