--- Quote from: ataradov on October 05, 2020, 01:10:55 am --- I'm looking for a song (more like musical composition, I guess). It is an instrumental composition. I'm not sure what to call that genre. It has no real lyrics, Any ideas are welcome. It is super strange how a song can exist and then just disappear never to be found again. --- End quote --- I'm reminded of this account in the Bible book of Daniel, chapter 2. "In the second year of his reign, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; his mind was troubled and he could not sleep. 2 So the king summoned the magicians, enchanters, sorcerers and astrologers to tell him what he had dreamed. When they came in and stood before the king, 3 he said to them, “I have had a dream that troubles me and I want to know what it means.” 4 Then the astrologers answered the king, “May the king live forever! Tell your servants the dream, and we will interpret it.” 5 The king replied to the astrologers, “This is what I have firmly decided: If you do not tell me what my dream was and interpret it, I will have you cut into pieces and your houses turned into piles of rubble." LOL. Tough one. |

Maybe there's a forum for European electronic music, or whatever the genre is? There are probably groups of people more knowledgeable about music on average than engineers. |

I once had a similar yearning to find a piece of music I'd heard many years ago ... 1975, in fact. I only found it this year. By sheer chance, someone here on the EEVblog put up a YT clip ... and I clicked on it. Three notes in and I recognised it as the long sought after piece. If the universe applies a similar time scale to you, come back here in 2040 or 41 and someone will have posted it ... not knowing it was what you were after. |

This is not it, but I'm still looking... amazing how much good Titanic related music is out there that I never knew about.... The lyrics remind me of something like Jeff Wayne's War of The Worlds... but related to Titanic. |
