Help identify LEDs
« on: October 21, 2021, 03:52:05 pm »
Hello.
I got some LEDs from a Chinese source, they supposed to be OSRAM LEDs, but I don't know the model number(and don't even know if they are genuine OSRAM parts).
Can anyone look at the 5 photos and try to tell the model number? And is it possible to tell whether they are real or clone by those pictures?
Thanks.

If it was important that you knew the model/brand, then you should have bought them from a US distributor.

If it wasn't important, then as long as they light up (and continue to do so) you should be happy.

I'd be super impressed (and skeptical) if someone can tell you the part number and manufacturer - I can't do that even with a Digikey sourced LED once it is out of its shipping bag.

cheers,
george.

Best comment ever.
The distinction between "infinite cheapness" and "supply chain security" is the central point.
