I told them I was ill
« on: October 16, 2014, 01:31:30 am »
So, I get a big pile of interesting new (to me) test equipment to play with. I briefly test several of them, but I don't investigate them more deeply or try out all the exciting features.

I look up the service manual and take apart the one that doesn't work.

Am I sick ?

nah you got too much interesting stuff at once, they call it burnout  ;)
You are on the right track, just pick the most interesting one and start with that, saving the rest for later. One at a time, slowly, and stop when you are no longer enjoying it.

I would have taken apart the ones that DO work, and see why they were not broken!
