Help me shop for a new optical drive?

Hi all-

I'm ripping the last of my optical collection and my old drive just died.  Suddenly I need a new external USB optical drive, of all things.  It needs to play everything up to Blu-Ray but does not need to burn anything.

I have not kept up with this product category and if anyone can recommend a specific make & model to purchase I would be grateful.

You generally won't find drives that aren't burners as well these days.
