i have a 7in 5.8GHZ receiver screen "FPV" with a internal 7.4 lithion battery. the battery measures 7.3v... on the battery itself it has a board which doesn't seem to be protection... it looks like the same pcb that they use in lipo battery's. it just what they use to make the series/parallel connection between battery tabs. so this battery measures 7.3v which means in 2cells or 2s. but that board has 3 wires coming off. 1 is + and one is - and the other is marked T on the board.    (this battery is internal and screen/device charges it. has a 12v barrel connector)

2 questions:

1. what does the T stand for "Temp sensor?"  when i ohm check/volt meter between it and either of the other 2 pads ( + / -) nothing and no voltage

2. how does this battery charge with only 2 wires ( + /- ) im used to lipos which have a balancing lead for each cell.... but it has to be 2 cells since its 7.3v...

T is temperature, yes, and it usually connected to a 10k NTC to ground or similar: https://forum.vellemanprojects.eu/uploads/default/original/2X/8/81f06769d615c51cdb791bc3286a2ca3d2af93f5.jpg
If you did check the resistance and its open circuit to ground, they may have left it out.

I thought the same but apparently its a non-issue for 2C packs (was informed in another thread about a 2-ch microchip charger).
So you apply ~8.4V to charge the two cells, and the capacity must be close enough that they seem to stay well balanced (less than 50mV or so). I would stick with lowish current charging as well just in case  (<1A).
