Hard to see how anything from a random collection of objects, ranging in distance from "Fark that is a long way" to "Fark I thought the first one was far", can have any influence on you, seeing as the gravity field of the cot you were dropped in was orders of magnitude bigger in effect on you.

the objects on the skly have effect on you... a psychological effect coming from believing it has effect on you ;) it's more or less the same as audiophiles :D some persons claiming themselves as mediums can apply some sophisticated social engineering (pretty ancient skill) to make you believe ;)

I would disagree with the statement(s).

The position of one planet and one star in particular has a rather large effect on each and every one of us in many ways.

And also, Voltaire, religion is no wise mother, religion is nothing worth even thinking about.

Hm...
But if i plan on sending a probe to Jupiter, won't the positions of the planets affect how hard the trajectory would be to follow, and thus affect my life?  :-//

So  it remains the same then, which means I'm not going to win the lottery,or a Tektronix give away, and I suppose it means I'm going to work my butt off for a  greedy and ungrateful boss does it " Happy New Year :--
If it's highly recommended, then  I'm not interested.

religion is nothing worth even thinking about.

It can be important if you need to socialize/do business/sleep with religious people.  Of course, that is no excuse to start believing in it yourself.

I know of only one instance of a celestial body affecting human behavior. Try walking past a psychiatric institution on the night of a new moon then examine the true meaning of the word 'lunatic'.
Should you find yourself in a chronically leaking boat, energy devoted to changing vessels is likely to be more productive than energy devoted to patching leaks.

The funny thing is that I immediately went straight to my sign and said hah that's funny, before I noticed any of the others, and then had a really good laugh.
It's perfectly acceptable to not know something in the short term. To continue to not know over the long term is just laziness.

I find the lack of order in that list disturbing.  ::)
