I like the recipe layout there. If I ever stand a chance of cooking successfully it'll be with the help of a site like that.

I half-expected to find a link to the bacon alarm clock. :D

Check out anything from Alton Brown.

Wife has food network on the tube a lot. His show Good Eats....right up an engineers alley. He drives my wife nuts, but it's one of the few cooking shows I can actually sit and watch. Very techy in nature.
The more you learn, the more you realize just how little you really know.
