I guess a Bee's dick is larger than a Gnat's knacker our normal unit of small measure here and so less precise  :-DD

--- Quote ---How much honey does a bee produce in its lifetime?

In a colony, a large number of bees are required to produce a significant amount of honey, because the average worker bee only produces 1/12 teaspoon of honey in its lifetime. This may seem like an insignificant amount of honey, however it is important to recall the massive number of bees that reside in these hives. Additionally, the worker bees have a lifespan of only 6-8 weeks. Taking into perspective the relatively short lifespan of these worker bees, it is obvious how worthy of admiration and appreciation creating 1/12 teaspoons of honey is to a bee!
--- End quote ---

So, starting life as an egg, hatching into a grub, fed for a few days then sealed into your chamber to metamorphosise into a bee.
Spend your short life making a tiny amount of honey (some human will devour uncaring of your lifelong effort).
During this time you might be lucky enough to mate which causes your dick explode just before you die.
All the while we spray them with neonicotinoids.

Poor little buggers. They deserve a much bigger dick.

--- Quote ---These mating sites, called ‘congregation areas’, are specific locations, where drones wait for the arrival of virgin queens.

That sounds awfully like a carpark I know... I dare say they'd be waiting a long time for a virgin though

I wonder if there's a unit system one could derive from this though, like the furlong–firkin–fortnight system
