How do I close my eevblog account/profile?
« on: July 27, 2015, 07:42:53 pm »
Hi,
I'd like to know how to completely shutdown and remove my account and profile with
all aspects of eevblog?  There is no info. that I can find on this (so far) to do so.
Who do I email to completely unsubscribe?
Thanks.

Goto.. Profile > Account Settings.  Highlight the Actions button & Delete account.

I think only Dave or Seppy (David) can remove an account and all its posts. Any particular reason why you can't just stop posting ?

...As it happens I developed a Perl script to bulk delete an unlimited number of posts pretty much as fast as the forum can respond, if anyone needs it. At the moment it only deletes the posts, but I was thinking of making it edit them first to make sure they are unrecoverable (a secure delete option).

Things are getting too hot on the forums where you share your "opinion"?
Or does it happen often that you are suddenly payed to share another "opinion"?
If you try and take a cat apart to see how it works, the first thing you have on your hands is a nonworking cat.

Yeah, I don't understand the paranoia of some people (not that there aren't plenty of things to be cautious about online).

On the other hand. Perl? EWWWW ;)
