Hi guys,

People collect the strangest things, for the strangest of reasons. And for some reason I convinced myself that I need to own a printed edition of the Red Book Philips/Sony CD standard. Obviously not for its contents, but for the mere sake of owning one.

Unfortunately, they're not easy to find, probably because they're propriety. After evenings of searching, I couldn't even find a photo of it, so I don't even know if it is actually red. Do you guys have any ideas?

Cheers,

        Robert.

This includes a picture of it.  It is not actually a book as such (depending on your definition), either.

So it's a set of red binders; That makes sense. Thanks for the video; It shows what's on the cover and those are good terms to search for.

Interesting, but they seem sell PDFs. If they sell printed copies, they'll probably print one out and put it in a binder; Not really the same, but I'll drop them a mail. I don't think they'll sell me anything anyway, because of their NDA requirements.

For whomever is just interested in the information within, the Red Book standard and most of its colorful friends can be found on the Internet Archive: https://archive.org/search?query=subject%3A%22rainbow+books%22.
