Title: How do I set my time zone for this site?
Post by: spiff72 on July 13, 2020, 12:21:04 pm
Hey everyone, not sure where to post this, but I can't find any "User CP" option for this forum, where I might set the correct time zone for my location.  I want to have the post times reflect correctly, but I am guessing that they reflect the time in Australia.

Click "profile" at the top of the page, there is an option called "Look and Layout" on the left where you can modify time offset.

Wow - even with that guidance it was hard to find.  Clicking Profile at the top of the page had nothing on the left, but there was an item called "modify profile" next to Profile Summary which revealed a drop-down with the info I needed.  I didn't realize the "modify Profile" item was a link - i thought it was just descriptive text telling me that i was already modifying the profile!   ;D

Thanks!

Also, it doesn't understand your regional daylight saving time, so you may have to adjust it twice a year!
