How do you inline YouTube videos on this forum ?

Copy the full url of the video, hit the hyperlink button on the post reply toolbar, paste it, done.

My problem was that i did use the default "share" button on YouTube. And that is a short link.

You don't even have to do that. If you just paste the YouTube URL into a post it will get automatically converted to an inline video by the software. Which is a very annoying misfeature when you don't want it to do that (for example it will corrupt any modifiers you put on the link such as a start time).
It is very useful to have the short URL workaround available to avoid the SMF software breaking your links when you don't want it to mess them up.
