How do you organize your "That product might be useful in the future" list?

I've been trying to figure out a good way to organize my list of products that fall into the category of "I have no use for this right now, but I'll have to remember that that exists.". bookmarking the page for them kinda works, but then you may not remember what every product does, and the name may not provide a good clue.

I don't look for solutions before I have problems, but when I see something that could be useful in someone else's project, I like to make note of it.

It's called a 'shelf'. If you do it right, at some point you'll need to upgrade it to the 'shelves' model.

It's called a black hole... throw them into your bottom drawer, a cupboard or a box marked "misc bits". Then in twenty years time, you will have just the right thing to save the day. My grandfather's notion of saving random metal vehicle brackets in the 1950s, was a perfect fit for a renovation in... 2012. Useful? Maybe not in my lifetime, but you never know.
