I generally pick "Registered Airmail" for Elecrow orders to the UK and so far it has worked fine. In particular I do not get the demand for a 'disbursement fee' which occurs for DHL, TNT, FedEx etc

This time I noticed that Registered Airmail = 20-60 days, $9.76 but  "Yun Express DDP is faster (something like 11-16 days) & cheaper ($6.13).

I was tempted to try Yun Express DDP, but opted for 'what I know' this time.

Has anyone out there used the Yun Express DDP service to the UK, and are there any known disadvantages compared with Registered Airmail?

DDP means duty prepaid. End delivery will likely be performed by normal royal mail, or maybe a local courier.

How long does registered airmail normally take? For Canada at least, these DDP services are a lot faster, a few weeks vs 1+ months.

Typically, an order with Elecrow (delivered by registered airmail) is here within 3 weeks.
