Title: how to find and download all dave`s videos..

Hello folks, I am new here. I came across Dave`s tutorials at youtube,cin and I loved them, so I signed up for an account here and have been looking to find a way to download all of his videos at once.. Is there a way to do so ?

I am new to electronics and I am learning it. I used to teach English, but I happened to change work field after enrolling in the electric engineering course at university( bachelor degree here in Brazil ) now I am struggling to learn as much and fast as I can.

For downloading from Youtube try Internet Downloader Manager. It's not free software but the trial is enought for this purpouse.

But they are only 640x360 podcast versions.
The full HD versions are available only on Youtube

As mentioned by wilfred

• Download youtube-dl for your operating system (Windows, Linux, MacOS) from this link (http://rg3.github.io/youtube-dl/).
• You should have enough hard disk space available. Dave has uploaded 1'112'866 seconds of video footage 8) to his main Youtube channel. My archive of his videos is 68GB in 360p. This does not include EEVBlog2 or Altzone
• You should be familiar with command line tools :P. The syntax is as follow:

To download with highest available quality:

Code: [Select]

youtube-dl --continue --format best https://www.youtube.com/user/EEVblog

or to download in 360p to save hard disk space:

Code: [Select]

youtube-dl --continue --format 18 https://www.youtube.com/user/EEVblog

Once you downloaded all videos, you will require 12 continues days/24 hours a day to watch all of them to catch-up :o. Or watch in 2x,3x...32x.

If you want to save his comments for each video, add --write-description to the command.

After downloading, if you ever watch any of his videos and liked it, do not forget to open it directly in Youtube to hit the Thumbs-up :-+

P.S.: It is possible to download Dave's playlists, videos after/before specific dates or many other different options. Please refer to youtube-dl manual for more information.

Okay guys, thank you for the answers. I appreciated them !
I was thinking it might be an ftp archive here with the videos or something similar, but even if it does, according to someone on this thread, I wouldn`t be able to download the videos in full HD definition.

So I will follow the other advice and download by command line, which sounds more ( elegant )  Dare used this word once, now I am using it too.. lol

Sorry to bother you sir, but this seems to be a related thread about  videodownload? i have a question and may i post it here. Recently i wanted to download videos this program named VideoGrabby YouTube Downloader as you can see in (http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/vdgb-yt-downloader.html (http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/vdgb-yt-downloader.html)). Right before it began to download, it demanded that i must firstly preset 3 parameters - bit rate resolution and aspect ratio. I just want to know what the differences between bit rate and resolution are and how i should preset the values of the 3 parameters? The higher the better will be?

Bare in mind that these come form the Podcast feed:
http://www.eevblog.org/video (http://www.eevblog.org/video)
They are only 1280x720 version and quite compressed. Not the full 1080p upload to Youtube.
