For example this.
I entered only once, wrote nothing, I'm no interested in any way at making my own SMT production line.
I've ignored that topic at least 4 times, but it keeps appearing.
WTF?

Edit:
I see the issue, under Account settings / Ignored Topics:

"You have 100 ignored topics. You are limited to a maximum 100 ignored topics. When ignoring more topics than your limit, the oldest ones get replaced (So that you never exceed the limit)."

So that's it...
Please at another two zeros :-DD

You are describing the first automobile from 100 years ago, so come back in 2122 and the forum software will have it all :-+

In the morning I open the forum page click on "Show new replies to your posts." and work through the list. Don't get that much even though being more active lately. Read and reply as necessary. The I scan the "Show unread posts since last visit." list, which might be 3 pages, but most topics are not of interest to me. Open the ones I like to see and click the mark as read button.

During the day, when I'm behind my computer, I check the lists again. In the evening after watching TV with the wife, I check a last time. Quick scan is the magic word here.

'Keep It Simple Silly' (KISS)

I learned this one with a more rude word for the last letter  :-DD

That makes sense.  Also, sorry, I got mixed up, with the KISS abbreviation.  So clearly even KISS isn't simple enough for me.   :-[   :-DD   :-DD

Keep It Simple, Silly, does sort of have a nice ring to it.

Yep when searched without SMF in the google search term it show that topic :palm:

Edit: Added google to show that I searched for it there, and not on the forum itself.

Yes, but they knew that thread existed, and so knew the details to search for, etc. Because they posted in it, multiple times.  If everyone fully searched on this forum, and fully used google.  We would end up with an almost empty forum (arguably).

Well yes, however the grey matter is getting a bit sparse these days but I do remember it being announced as a new feature so just added that to the search. Also knew I'd posted in it and could've refined the search further with a username but still found it quite quickly.

I never use Google for searching EEVblog as I do pretty well with just the left hand Search button and maybe a username.
