Hi,
Am trying to locate EEVBLOG threads concerning LLC converters.

Over the last few years, there have been loads of these but googling

"EEVBLOG forum  LLC" reveals only two such threads.
Do you know how to search such things.

The other Google keyword I use all the time is filetype:pdf
Of course you can search for other file types, but 99.9% of the time it’s that I want a PDF.

And note that the site: keyword can be any part of the URL: I use site:.ch all the time to restrict to Swiss websites, for example.

EEVblog is an exception, in my experience.  The search function works quite well.  There have been several instances where I got better results using the forum search over using the Googler with "site:xxx".

Agreed. In my experience, the forum’s own search is great when I know exactly the search terms I need. Google site search is often better at fuzzy searches.
