It seems that some reputable companies have been up to less than reputable practices:

What worse:
1. Somewhat overpriced capacitors that work from otherwise reputable Japanese companies.

2. Guaranteed to fail capacitors made using counterfeit electrolyte that isn't made properly.

Have they gone after CapXon / etc.?

Now if they could do the same with gas price fixing. Its always amazed me how all the stations in town all have the exact same price and how rapidly the price goes up when crude goes up but falls like molasses when crude drops.

You don't complain , here when the crude goes up and  the gas hits a pick ,when the crude goes down and  the gas  follows to go up or leave stagnant but with few frequency it  goes down

Are others getting these notices?

I'm guessing I got one due to past Digikey purchases.

Sure, I'll rush right out and register so I can jump through hoops to collect a few dollars. ::)

Looks like $15 million of the $34.5 million will go to the lawyers....

More than collect a few dollars, they may send you some "replacement components".

Too high for the good stuff, too low for the junk that doesn't last. :)
