bench magnifier

the title may not be apt, but I was thinking of whether it would be of any use putting together a 3d type magnifier for the bench, 3 usb or cctv type lenses one directly overhead and one to each side all focused at a specific point or even self adjusting to focus. would it give depth etc to the screen ?. it is not my type of thing but  hey ho

possibly, I was thinking more in terms of a large monitor on a wall. Maybe even 3d glasses would do there too .
